Physical Therapist- PRN - Rehab
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain. You will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals recovering from injuries or dealing with chronic conditions. Duties:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises and techniques to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion
- Provide manual therapy, such as trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and improve function
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics and exercises for at-home care
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Ability to provide care in various settings, including outpatient, hospital and nursing home
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to provide quality care
- Strong problem-solving skills to address individual patient needs
Requirements:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Alabama
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
