Nursing Service/Admin Secretary
This position provides secretarial support for the Nursing Services Department and Administration Department. Answers non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of external as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Be able to meet the communication needs of the patients, family and staff. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload, changes in offices practice or procedures. Prepares and compiles records and/or meeting minutes for the facility. Efficiency required in typing, filing, scheduling, and recording. Assist with facility Facebook page, management of digital sign, and other marketing duties. Assist with set up and preparation for events.
•High school diploma or the equivalent, higher education preferred.
•A medical background would be helpful, but not required.
•Responsible for performing administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties
•Responsible for scheduling and typing meeting minutes
•Assist in writing policies and procedures
•Extensive computer and software knowledge
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Facebook
•Must have good judgment, organizational and management abilities
•Must be self-motivated, flexible, and organized
•Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills
•Excellent written, analytical, and oral communication skills
