Dietary Aide- PART TIME
Under the direction of the on-duty Cook and the Nutrition Services Director, the Dietary Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties such as preparing food trays for general and therapeutic diets. Preparing and delivering items as requested by patient care units or patients as necessary. Also maintains tray line in a clean, neat and organized manner. Prepares special diet foods as necessary. Delivers food cart (s) to patient care units. Returns carts to kitchen as designated times. Serves hospital food to employees and guest. Loads and oversees dishwashers. Washes specified items by hand, i.e., pots, pans, knives. Disposes of trash and garbage in appropriate manner and as needed. Puts clean dishes and utensils away. Mops floors as scheduled and as necessary. Cleans walk-in refrigerators and storage areas and stocking groceries. Assists in preparing salads, desserts and nourishments. Performs special cleaning duties as assigned by the Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
 PART Time Position MUST BE ABLE TO WORK28 HOURS
Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
